Hi! I’m Colleen and I want to share with you all a little bit about myself. I was born in Abington Hospital, in Montgomery County and my first language was French. I spoke only French up until I started school. I followed the Upper Morland School District K-12 where I competed as a swimmer and diver, as well as on the soccer team. I also played cello in the orchestra and bass guitar in jazz band. In 2008 I was recognized as a National Young Leader and spent a week in Washington DC meeting government officials and learning about our nation’s capital.
After that I traveled out west for a bit to Arizona for a year before returning to the east coast and settling in Delaware with my daughter and going to school at Delaware Tech for Business Entrepreneurship where I graduated Summa Cum Laude with my Associates in Applied Science Entrepreneurship as well as a personal training certification. From there I started my own business as a personal trainer and fell in love with helping people find their path to health. This is also where I met my, now husband, Tom.
In 2017 we got married and moved back to PA and ended up in Delaware County. After a year and a half of trying to find our rhythm, we decided that this was not the end goal when it came to our home, and we went searching again and found Oxford where we have put down our roots for good. Unfortunately the repeated moving and reshaping of our lives led me to move personal training to a back seat in my life as I dove more into setting up our home. We turned our home into a farmette with a sprawling vegetable garden, an apple orchard, chickens, and fruit trees and bushes all along the property. Our kids love the Oxford Area School district and have made lifelong friends there. We have loved getting to set up a farmette on our property and connecting with local farmers for everything from food to medicine, and everything in between, keeping us very local and in tune with our area. Now that our kids are in school I am ready to help you all find your dream home the way we did.
